Can't import saved text files into MDB

description

I'm using Windows 8 32-bit with AccessSVN 1.6, TortoiseSVN 1.8.0, and Access 2007. Exporting works fine (after a few hiccups getting the .NET interop assemblies, and so on), but importing doesn't seem to work at all, no matter what I do. I've tried both the GUI and the command line, using an existing (blank) MDB or trying to have the import create it, with overwritedatabase and without, and with various specifications of response files, wildcards, and stdin. From asvn I mostly get "Index (zero based) must be greater than or equal to zero and less than the size of the argument list.", while from the GUI I mostly get "Value does not fall within the expected range", and then "The RPC server is unavailable. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800706BA)". Oh yeah, if I restart the GUI and try from scratch (without setting the MDB name or adjusting options) I can get this error: "System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

at System.Windows.Forms.Control.OnClick(EventArgs e)
at System.Windows.Forms.Button.OnClick(EventArgs e)
at System.Windows.Forms.Button.OnMouseUp(MouseEventArgs mevent)
at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseUp(Message& m, MouseButtons button, Int32 clicks)
at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m)
at System.Windows.Forms.ButtonBase.WndProc(Message& m)
at System.Windows.Forms.Button.WndProc(Message& m)
at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m)
at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m)
at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)"

Given that my database is quite simple at the moment, consisting solely of four small tables and their relationships, I'm not sure what's so hard about this.

No program are bug free, only they don't have known bugs.
Ok, could you send the database, relations and tables script files? I'll try to reproduce the problem and fix it, if applicable.

Miguel

Any progress on this yet?

I'm working in a new parameter that will allow to import to an existing database (current behavior) or create a new empty database. This, for asvn command line tool; for interactive UI, sadly, I have no progress.

Have you tried to import over an existing empty database?

You mean create a blank MDB, then destructively import into it? Yes, but the command-line tool doesn't seem to get past parsing (it gives me the same "Index ... whatever" error no matter what combination of quoting, full path, RSP file specification, or none I use). And the GUI tool gives me the same exception.

Good to know you're working on it, though. :)
